Every star map is designed, printed, and finished by hand in our New Forest studio.
Every star map we produce is calculated from your exact date, time, and location using precise astronomical data. We use Local Sidereal Time calculations to orient the sky correctly — the same methods used by observatories and planetariums. The stars, constellations, and Milky Way on your print are exactly as they appeared above you on your chosen night.
This isn't decorative guesswork. It's your sky, precisely rendered.
Our classic star maps are printed on premium 300gsm satin silk stock — a beautifully smooth, heavyweight paper with a subtle lustre that brings out the depth of the night sky. We print using OKI graphic art laser printers, regarded as the best in their category for colour accuracy and archival-quality output.
The result is a rich, detailed print with crisp star fields and deep, true-to-life colour. Every print is individually quality-checked before it leaves our studio.
Our foil star maps are something truly special. The stars, constellations, text, and border are hot-foil stamped onto 250gsm deep-dyed, acid-free card stock using professional-grade foiling equipment. The foil catches the light beautifully — a finish that simply can't be replicated by digital printing.
Available in gold, silver, rose gold, pink, and blue foil on a choice of black, navy, grey, or white card. Each foil print is hand-pressed and inspected individually.
We offer ready-to-hang frames in black or white, sourced from a UK supplier. Our frames are made from eco-friendly recycled Polycore with a natural wood-effect finish — chunky, substantial frames with a 30mm width and 15mm depth that give the print a premium, gallery feel.
Each frame is fitted with a perspex front for safety and durability, with glass available on request. A5 and A4 frames can also be stood up on a shelf or bedside table. Every order is hand-framed in our studio and arrives ready to hang or gift.
Every order follows the same careful process:
No outsourcing, no third parties, no automation. Just us, making sure every print is right before it leaves.
