Our Frames

Built to impress

We chose our frames for one reason: they make the print look like a proper piece of art, not a poster shoved behind glass. At 30mm wide and 15mm deep, these frames have a chunky, gallery-quality feel that gives your star map the presence it deserves.

Every frame is hand-assembled in our studio and arrives ready to hang on a wall. A5 and A4 frames can also be stood upright on a shelf, mantelpiece, or bedside table — perfect if you'd rather not drill into a wall.

Materials

Our frames are made from recycled Polycore — an eco-friendly material with a natural wood-effect finish. They're lightweight, durable, and better for the planet than traditional wood or MDF frames.

Each frame is fitted with a perspex front as standard, which is lighter and safer than glass — especially important for posted items and gifts. If you'd prefer a glass front, get in touch at hello@starboundmoments.com and we can arrange that for you.

Colours

Available in black or white, designed to complement any interior and any star map colour scheme:

• Black frame — Classic and versatile. Works beautifully with our Midnight and Slate colour schemes, and adds contrast to lighter Parchment and Chalk prints.
• White frame — Clean and contemporary. Particularly striking with dark colour schemes, and creates a seamless look with Chalk or Parchment prints.

Sizes & pricing

Frame pricing is added to your print cost at checkout. You can add or remove framing in Step 3 of the configurator.

Ready to gift

Every framed order is carefully packed to arrive in perfect condition. Whether it's a wedding gift, a birthday surprise, or a memorial tribute, your framed star map is ready to hang or display the moment it's unwrapped. No extra trips to the framing shop, no fiddling with fixings — just open and enjoy.
